internalDrive, Inc (“iD Tech”) respects your privacy and recognizes the importance of your personal information. We are committed to protecting your information through our compliance with this Privacy Policy.

This privacy policy applies to all individuals who visit and/or use iD Tech/internalDrive, Inc.'s websites, services, and products that collect data and/or display these terms ("iD Sites & Services"). This privacy statement applies only to information collected through iD Sites & Services and not to information collected offline.

All references to "us," "we," or "our" refer to iD Tech/internalDrive, Inc.

All references to "child" or "children" refer to children under the age of 13.

By accessing or otherwise using any of our iD Sites & Services, you consent to the terms contained in this privacy statement, including the collection, use, and disclosure of data as described below.

California Residents: iD Tech’s PRIVACY NOTICE FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS supplements the information contained in this Privacy Policy and applies solely to visitors, users, and others who reside in the State of California.

I. Information We May Ask You To Provide

Through our iD Sites & Services, we collect information about you and/or your student when you choose to provide it to us. For example, we collect information from you so you can use iD Sites & Services, purchase products and services, register for and obtain an account, request information, apply for a job, register for one of our programs, or verify your age. In general, we may ask you to provide us with the following types of information about you and/your student:

Contact information such as name, email address, mailing address, phone numbers (note to parents/guardians of children: if we have actual knowledge that a user is under 13 years old, the child will be asked to have his or her parent or guardian continue the registration process);
Month, day, and year of birth;
Gender preference;
Course interests;
Billing information such as credit card number and billing address;
User names to third-party systems (for example, Facebook);
Information provided on forums or chat rooms within our iD Sites & Services (note to parents/guardians of children: forums and chat rooms permit a child user to enter comments through which the child could provide personal information that would be visible to other users);
Information included in résumés and job applications; and
Health, any participation limitations or needs, immunization and allergy information.

Note to Parents/Guardians: We only collect the information described above, from someone we know to be a child, after the child's parent or guardian provides us with verifiable consent, unless one of the limited exceptions discussed below applies. For more information and/or to review these limited exceptions, please see the "Our Commitment to Children’s Privacy" section below.

II. Information Collected Automatically

Cookies and other Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, log files, Local Storage Objects, or other technologies to collect certain information about visitors to and users of iD Sites & Services, such as the date and time you visit iD Sites & Services, the areas or pages of iD Sites & Services that you visit, the amount of time you spend viewing or using iD Sites & Services, the number of times you return to iD Sites & Services, other click-stream or usage data, and emails that you open, forward or click through to iD Sites & Services. For example, we may automatically collect certain information, such as the type of web browser and operating system you use, the name of your Internet Service Provider, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, software version, and the domain name from which you accessed our iD Sites & Services. We use this information to monitor and improve our iD Sites & Services, support the internal operations of our iD Sites & Services, personalize your online experience, verify e-signatures, and for internal analysis.

We do not use cookies or similar technologies to track your activities on non-iD Sites & Services or to serve you advertisements based on your browsing activities on non-iD Sites & Services.

iD Sites & Services do not recognize “Do Not Track” headers or similar mechanisms.

Our Sites & Services may use third-party plug-ins to provide additional services and benefits. These third parties may collect information about you as well. When we use a third-party plug-in we will identify the plug-in and provide a link to the third party’s privacy policy under which the information they collect is identified and controlled.

We may also collect geolocation information from your device so we can customize your experience on our iD Sites & Services. In most cases, you are able to turn off such data collection at any time by accessing the privacy settings of your device and/or through the settings in the applicable GPS application.

Social Media

You also can engage with our content, and other offerings, on or through social media services or other third-party platforms, such as Facebook, or other third-party social media plug-ins, integrations and applications. When you engage with our content on or through social media services or other third party platforms, plug-ins, integrations or applications, you may allow us to have access to certain information in your profile. This may include your name, email address, photo, gender, birthday, location, an ID associated with the applicable third party platform or social media account user files, like photos and videos, your list of friends or connections, people you follow and/or who follow you, or your posts or "likes." For a description on how social media services and other third party platforms, plug-ins, integrations, or applications handle your information, please refer to their respective privacy policies and terms of use, which may permit you to modify your privacy settings.

When we interact with you through our content on third party websites, applications, integrations or platforms, we may obtain any information regarding your interaction with that content, such as content you have viewed, and information about advertisements within the content you have been shown or may have clicked on.

Information from Third Party Services

We may also obtain other information, including personal information, from third parties and combine that with information we collect through our Websites. For example, we may have access to certain information from a third party social media or authentication service if you log in to our Services through such a service or otherwise provide us with access to information from the service. Any access that we may have to such information from a third party social media or authentication service is in accordance with the authorization procedures determined by that service. If you authorize us to connect with a third party service, we will access and store your name, email address(es), current city, profile picture URL, and other personal information that the third party service makes available to us, and use and disclose it in accordance with this Policy. You should check your privacy settings on these third party services to understand and change the information sent to us through these services. For example, you can log in to the Services using single sign-in services such as Facebook Connect or an Open ID provider.

III. Your Ability To Control Cookies And Similar Technologies

As noted, we may use cookies or similar technologies to monitor and improve iD Sites & Services, support the internal operations of iD Sites & Services, personalize your online experience, support the e-signature process, and/or for internal analysis. We use these technologies to keep track of how you are using our iD Sites & Services and to remember certain pieces of general information.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. Check the “Tools” or “Help” tab on your browser to learn how to change your cookie and other tracking preferences.

If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the functions of iD Sites & Services and/or some of our services will function improperly, in particular the inability to log in or manage items in your shopping cart. We do not share cookie data with any third parties.

IV. How We May Use Your Information

We may use the information we collect from and about you and/or your student for any of the following purposes:

Allow you to register yourself or your student with iD Sites & Services, or to otherwise register and open an account with us;
Allow you and/or your student to use iD Sites & Services;
Fulfill orders, process payments, and prevent transactional fraud;
Respond to your or your student’s requests or inquiries;
Provide you or your student with information about our products and services;
Consider you for employment or a volunteer opportunity;
Register you or your student in one of our programs;
Verify your student's age;
Monitor and improve iD Sites & Services, support the internal operations of iD Sites & Services, personalize your online experience, and for internal analysis;
Protect the security or integrity of iD Sites & Services and our business;
Facilitate the sale or potential sale of our business or any of our assets; or
As required by law.

V. How We Share Information

We do not sell or otherwise share your or your student’s information with any third parties, except for the limited purposes described below. Parents/guardians of children under the age of 13 have the option of consenting to the collection and use of their child's personal information without consenting to the disclosure of that information to certain third parties.

1. Law Enforcement And Safety

We may access, preserve, and/or disclose the information we collect and/or content you and/or your student/child provides to us (including information posted on our forums) to a law enforcement agency or other third parties if required to do so by law or with a good faith belief that such access, preservation, or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with legal process; (ii) enforce the Terms and Conditions of iD Sites & Services; (iii) respond to claims that the content violates the rights of third parties; or (iv) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of the owners or users of iD Sites & Services, a third party, or the general public. We also may disclose information whenever we believe disclosure is necessary to limit our legal liability; to protect or defend our rights or property; or protect the safety, rights, or property of others.

2.   Service Providers

Information collected through iD Sites & Services may be transferred, disclosed, or shared with third parties engaged by us to handle and deliver certain activities, such as housing, meals, payment processing, mail/email distribution, software providers, and to perform other technical and processing functions, such as maintaining data integrity, programming operations, user services, or technology services. We may provide these third parties information collected as needed to perform their functions, but they are prohibited from using it for other purposes and specifically agree to maintain the confidentiality of such information. Some of these providers, such as payment processors, may request additional information during the course of offering their services. Before you provide additional information to third party providers, we encourage you to review their privacy policies and information collection practices.

3.   Business Transfer

During the normal course of our business, we may sell or purchase assets. If another entity may acquire and/or acquires us or any of our assets, information we have collected about you may be transferred to such entity. In addition, if any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding is brought by or against us, such information may be considered an asset of ours and may be sold or transferred to third parties. Should a sale or transfer occur, we will use reasonable efforts to try to require that the transferee use personal information provided through our iD Sites & Services in a manner that is consistent with this privacy statement.

VI.           Our Commitment To Children’s Privacy

Protecting the privacy of children is paramount. We understand that users and visitors of our iD Sites & Services who are under 13 years of age need special safeguards and privacy protection. It is our intent to fully comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Our iD Sites & Services are intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 13 years of age to provide us with personal information without obtaining a parent's or guardian’s verifiable consent, except where:

the sole purpose of collecting the name or online contact information of a parent or child is to provide notice and obtain parental consent;
the purpose of collecting a parent’s online contact information is to provide voluntary notice to, and subsequently update the parent about, the child’s participation in our iD Sites & Services that do not otherwise collect, use, or disclose childrens' personal information;
the sole purpose of collecting online contact information from a child is to respond directly on a one-time basis to a specific request from the child, and where such information is not used to re-contact the child or for any other purpose, is not disclosed, and is deleted by us promptly after responding to the child’s request;
the purpose of collecting a child’s and a parent’s online contact information is to respond directly more than once to the child’s specific request, and where such information is not used for any other purpose, disclosed, or combined with any other information collected from the child;
the purpose of collecting a child’s and a parent’s name and online contact information, is to protect the safety of a child, and where such information is not used or disclosed for any purpose unrelated to the child’s safety;
the purpose is to obtain feedback from your student and provide aggregated demographic information about our participants to our curriculum and location partners;
we collect a persistent identifier and no other personal information and such identifier is used for the sole purpose of providing support for the internal operations of iD Sites & Services; or
otherwise permitted or required by law.

If we receive the verifiable consent of a child's parent or guardian to collect, use, and/or disclose the child's information, we will only collect, use, and disclose the information as described in this privacy statement. Some features of our iD Sites & Services permit a child user to enter comments, such as forums and chat rooms, through which the child could provide personal information that would be visible to other users. If you are the parent or guardian of a child user, please advise your child of the risks of posting personal information on this iD Sites & Services or any other site.

VII. Parental/Guardian Rights

VIII. Restrictions On Child Users (those under the age of 13)

Children under 13 years of age are prevented from accessing areas of iD Sites & Services which include, but are not restricted to, client account information and course content defined as age inappropriate by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), except as set out below or otherwise unless approved by their parent or guardian.

By allowing your child to participate in our programs and/or use our services, you explicitly give us permission to ask and for your child to provide demographic information such as their age, gender, as well as general geographic location (we will not be asking for an address, email address or phone number)information. You also give us permission to ask your child to provide feedback of the program they are participating in, and to share all the information provided by your student with our curriculum and social impact partners in an aggregate form. We will not individually provide the information your child provided.

IX. Forums And Chats

We may offer forums and chat rooms. Please be aware that anyone may read postings on a forum or in a chat room. Furthermore, any information which is posted to a forum or chat room could include personal information, which would be disclosed and available to all users of that forum or chat room, and is therefore no longer private. We cannot guarantee the security of information that any user discloses or communicates online in public areas such as forums and chat rooms. Those who do so, do so at their own risk. We reserve the right to monitor the content of the forums and chat rooms. If age-inappropriate content or potentially identifiable information is seen, it may be removed or edited by us for security, privacy, and/or legal reasons. We will not republish postings from forums or chat rooms anywhere on the Web.

X. Links And Third Parties

At our discretion, we may include or offer third-party websites, products, and services on iD Sites & Services. These third-party sites, products, and services have separate and independent privacy policies. You should consult the respective privacy policies of these third parties. We have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of linked sites, products, or services.

Our iD Sites & Services may contain links to other third-party websites, chat rooms, or other resources that we provide for your convenience. These sites are not under our control, and we are not responsible for the content available on other sites. Such links do not imply any endorsement of material on our part and we expressly disclaim all liability with regard to your access to such sites. Access to any other websites linked to from iD Sites & Services is at your own risk.

XI. Legal Basis for processing Personal Data and Your Data Protection Rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), iD Tech’s legal basis for collecting and using your personal information as described in this policy depends on the personal Data we collect and the context in which we collect it in. iD Tech may process your personal data because:

To provide the services which you requested or purchased;
You have given us permission to do so;
To provide you with better services, including conducting audits and data analysis;
Payment processing;
Marketing;
Providing information to our University partners; and
Complying with the law

You have certain data protection rights. iD Tech aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete or limit the use of your Personal Data.

The right to access, update or delete the information we have on you. Whenever made possible, you can access, update or request deletion of your Personal Data directly within your account settings section. If you are unable to perform these actions yourself, please contact us to assist you.

The right to object. You have the right to object to our processing of your Personal Data.
The right of restriction. You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal information.

XII.           International Visitors  (non GDPR Locations)

Our iD Sites & Services are operated and managed on servers located in the United States. If you choose to use our iD Sites & Services from the European Union or other regions of the world with laws governing data collection and uses that differ from the United States, then you recognize and agree that you are transferring your personal information outside of those regions to the United States and you consent to that transfer.

XIII.          Data Security Commitment

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect. We also use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol on your account information and registration pages to protect sensitive personal information. Sensitive data is encrypted on our iD Sites & Services and when stored on the servers.

XIV. How You Can Access, Request A Copy, Correct, Or Ask For Information To Be Deleted

Access to certain personal Information that is collected from our Services and that we maintain may be available to you. For example, if you created a password-protected account within our Service, you can access that account to review the information you provided.

XVIII.          Your Credit Card Information And Transactions

For your convenience, you may have us bill you or you can pay for your orders by credit card. If you choose to pay by credit card, we will keep your credit card information on file, but we do not display that information at the online registration site. For your security, your credit card security number is not stored in our system.

We use state-of-the-art Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology to safeguard and protect your personal information and transactions over the internet. Your information, including your credit card information, is encrypted and cannot be read as it travels over the Internet.

XIX.         Social Networking Disclaimer

iD Tech provides several opportunities for social networking for both participants and staff on sites such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Flickr, and YouTube. These sites are not affiliated with iD Tech and offer their own individual social networking services. Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully, as well as the Terms and Conditions of the sites in which iD Tech has created a forum ("Group"). These Terms and Conditions are a legal agreement between you and iD Tech and apply to you whether you are a visitor to these sites or any site with an official iD Tech affiliation.

iD Tech is a member of several pre-existing sites (as mentioned above). There may be, however, portions of www.iDTech.com that include areas where participants can post submissions. Any of the above-mentioned "Sites" (or other similar sites) have their own distinct rules and regulations. iD Tech reserves the right to take action to remove any content deemed inappropriate by the sites or by iD Tech standards. iD Tech will not be held liable for any loss of content or disagreements that may arise between the individual social networking site and the user.

You understand that by registering for an iD Tech program, your participant(s) may access and upload content to social networking sites. In order to access certain features of the social networking sites or pages on iDTech.com, and to post Member Submissions, the majority of these sites require that the user open an account with them. Please note that these sites have their own individual Terms and Conditions that must be followed. Age requirements are outlined within each Site's Terms and Conditions. You hereby authorize your participant to access social networking sites while at camp and create an account if they choose to do so and if they meet the requirements listed by each site to create an account.

Interaction with other users:

iD Tech is merely providing a medium in which to socialize online with fellow participants. Users are solely responsible for interactions (including any disputes) with other Members and any volunteers that may advise and assist participants with projects and activities via your use of the iD Site & Services.
You understand that iD Tech does not in any way screen Members or review or police: (i) statements made by Members in their Member Submissions or the Member Submissions in general; or (ii) statements made by Users or any information a User may provide via the iD Site & Services.
You understand that your participant(s) is solely responsible for, and will exercise caution, discretion, common sense, and judgment in using the various iD Sites & Services and disclosing personal information to other Members or Users.
On behalf of your participant(s), you agree that they will take reasonable precautions in all interactions with other Members, particularly if they decide to meet a Member offline or in person.
Your participant's use of the social networking sites with which iD Tech is affiliated, their services, and/or Content and Member Submissions, is at your sole risk and discretion and iD Tech hereby disclaims any and all liability to you or any third party relating thereto.
On behalf of your participant(s), you agree that they will not harass, threaten, intimidate, bully, stalk, or invade the privacy of any individual in connection with your use of the social networking sites with which iD Tech is affiliated and their services, whether or not an individual is an iD Tech Member; and you further agree not to advocate such activities or to encourage others to engage in any such activities.
On behalf of your participant(s), you agree they will not give their social networking information to an iD Tech staff member.
You and your participant(s) should also be aware that under no circumstances are iD Tech employees allowed to give personal contact information for social networking sites. This must be arranged by the participant's parent/guardian through the People Services Department.

XX.        Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy:

You agree that you and your participant will not use the social networking sites to offer, display, distribute, transmit, route, provide connections to, or store any material that infringes copyrighted works, trademarks, or service marks or otherwise violates or promotes the violation of the intellectual property rights of any third party. internalDrive, Inc. has adopted and implemented a policy that provides for the termination in appropriate circumstances of the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe or are believed to be or are charged with repeatedly infringing the intellectual property or proprietary rights of others.

BY USING THE SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES OR SUBMITTING A MEMBER SUBMISSION, YOU AGREE THAT INTERNALDRIVE, INC. IS NOT RESPONSIBLE, AND WILL IN NO EVENT BE HELD LIABLE, FOR ANY: (A) LOST, ILLEGIBLE, MISDIRECTED, DAMAGED, OR INCOMPLETE MEMBER SUBMISSIONS; (B) COMPUTER OR NETWORK MALFUNCTION OR ERROR; (C) COMMUNICATION DISRUPTION OR OTHER DISRUPTIONS RELATED TO INTERNET TRAFFIC, A VIRUS, BUG, OR WORM OR NON-AUTHORIZED INTERVENTION; OR (D) DAMAGE CAUSED BY A COMPUTER VIRUS OR OTHERWISE FROM YOUR ACCESS TO THE SITE OR SERVICES. These Terms and Conditions apply to all pages found at www.idtech.com and all Programs operated by internalDrive, Inc. (referred to as "iD Tech") including but not limited to iD Tech In-Person programs and iD Tech Online Programs. These terms apply to all lessons, classes, courses, and options offered by iD Tech (hereinafter referred to individually as “Program” or collectively “Programs”).

Privacy Policy: By using iD Tech’s website, registering you or your student for a Program, and/or affirmatively giving your agreement, you are agreeing on your own behalf and that of your student to abide and be bound by the Privacy Policy found HERE and the Terms and Conditions contained and referenced herein.

Online Programs: If you are purchasing, or you or your student is participating in an Online Program you also agree on your own behalf and on behalf of your student, to be bound by the additional terms and conditions found HERE.

On-Campus Programs: If you are purchasing, or you or your student is participating in, an On-Campus Program, you also agree on your own behalf and on behalf of your student to be bound by the additional terms and conditions found HERE.

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct or engaging in actions or attitudes that seem to be harmful to the atmosphere, other participants, or staff, in the opinion of iD Tech can lead to removal from a Program or Program(s). iD Tech reserves the right to dismiss students from a Program and prevent a student from attending additional programs without any prior warning for (1) violating any of the terms of this code of conduct, or (2) if iD Tech determines that a Program is not a suitable and/or productive environment for a student (this includes incidents in which a student does not have sufficient English language skills to participate in the Program; participation in courses requires a high level of English understanding). Refunds will not be given for students dismissed for failure of the student or the parent to abide by the Code of Conduct, or if it is determined that a Program is not suitable for a student. While iD Tech strives to maintain excellent relationships with students, in some rare cases, we may determine that iD Tech is not a compatible environment for every student.

Students and parents/guardians may NEVER:

Disrupt, bully, intimidate, or harass others
Use inappropriate language (for example, students cannot use curse words, racial, gendered, homophobic/transphobic, stereotypical, or culturally insensitive words, even if done in a joking manner)
View, display, or post any inappropriate material (including sexual content, material depicting inappropriate violence, racism, bullying, etc.) during a Program
Share Program information (including lesson plans, curriculum program, etc.) with third-parties, without permission from iD Tech
Impersonate another person
Contact instructors outside of the Program

Students also may NEVER:

Engage in internet hacking
Create an account on or log into third-party websites without the permission of their instructor
Use false information to create an account on or log into third-party websites
Share personal information with staff members or ask staff members for their personal information
Share or create video or audio recordings of iD Tech staff or other students without the permission of iD Tech.

Students and parents/guardians MUST:

Follow directions/instructions of iD Tech personnel
If online, ensure the student attends the Program in an appropriate, private setting
Dress appropriately during the Program
Adhere to the terms of use of any sites used, including following the specified age policies
Only share material that is related to lessons and appropriate

II. Age Policy
iD Tech offers Programs for students ages 7-19. Therefore, students may interact and/or room with a student that is within this age range including 18 or 19 years old. Please note the age range of the Program being registered for.

If a student is 18 or 19 years old and participating in an in-person Program, they must successfully pass a criminal and sexual offender background check prior to being allowed to attend. Clients are responsible for all costs and fees associated with any background checks required for a student to attend.

III. Special Accommodations
If a student requires a special accommodation to participate in an iD Tech Program, a parent/guardian must call iD Tech at 1-888-709-8324, no less than three weeks prior to the student’s first day of the Program to arrange reasonable accommodations.

If a student requires an aide to participate in an iD Tech Program, the aide must be age 18 or older, may not be a family member, and if it is an in-person Program, the aide must achieve a favorable result on a criminal background check. Aides may also be subject to fingerprinting. Clients are responsible for all direct costs, including background check processing fees, parking, and compensation for the aide’s attendance.

IV. Payment Policy

Unless otherwise noted, all financial transactions are made and quoted in U.S. Dollars.
All fees paid for online Programs, as well as the $250 per week deposit for On-Campus programs and any Payment Plan Fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
There are no refunds, credits, or replacement days for classes not attended.
If iD Tech cancels an entire program for any reason, the fees paid for the program, less the non-refundable fees will be refunded. Non-refundable fees (other than any Payment Plan Fees) will remain in your account as a fully transferable credit that does not expire.
iD Tech has the right to charge a $25 late fee on any payments not paid by the due date. For balances that are over 30 (thirty) days past due, iD Tech has the right to charge a 1% monthly finance charge and send the balance to a collection agency (collection agency fees may apply).
All fees (registration, administrative, late, etc.) must be paid prior to the start of a Program, unless a payment plan has been agreed to. Students will be withdrawn from a Program if a payment is not made by a due date, or the Program has not been paid in full prior to the start of the Program, unless a payment program with payments after the program date has been established. No refunds, credits, or make-up classes will be provided if a session is missed due to a delinquent payment.
A $25 returned check fee will be assessed for any checks returned or card transactions that are not honored.
Please see terms and conditions for each specific program (linked above) for terms specific to that program.

V. Universal Payment Plan and Subscriptions

By agreeing to a payment plan or Subscription, you are authorizing iD Tech to auto charge the credit card on file as agreed at the time of purchase and as set out on the My Account billing page.
A 3% non-refundable Payment Plan fee will be applied to all amounts placed on a Payment Plan.
Payment Plan and Subscription payments are due in the amounts and on the dates established and set forth during the registration process and on the My Account billing page.
Upon successful payment of a Subscription, you will be provided a new set of lessons equal to the initial subscription amount purchased. Subscriptions may be canceled online in your account at any time before midnight PT the day prior to the renewal date, or by calling our customer service department before 3pm PT the business day prior to your renewal date. Cancellations not made by these times will be considered cancellations of the next subscription renewal cycle. Once a subscription renews, you can schedule your new lessons immediately, and refunds cannot be provided. Subscriptions cannot be prorated, and unused courses purchased as part of a subscription are not refundable.
iD Tech has the right to charge a $25 late fee on any payments not made in full by the due date. For balances that are over 30 (thirty) days past due, iD Tech has the right to charge a 1% monthly finance charge and send the balance to a collection agency (collection agency fees may apply).

VI. Reservation Changes
We may limit your ability to make changes (such as registering for a different course or changing attendance dates) and/or cancel a Program. Please reference the Terms and Conditions for a specific Program (linked above) for the rules and restrictions for changes and cancellations for that Program.

VII. Promotions and Discounts
Promotional discounts are limited to one discount per student unless otherwise specified unless otherwise noted. There may be other limitations as to how they apply, and codes must be submitted at the time of registration. iD Tech will not honor retroactive adjustments, and the total discounts received cannot exceed the total cost of the products purchased.

The Refer-a-Friend Program is a voluntary Program that applies to Small-Group Classes and In-Person Programs.

Each code can be used a maximum of 10 times. The code can only be used by students attending iD Tech for the first time and must be applied at the time of registration.
A tuition credit will be given for each new student that registers for an On-Campus Program or Small-Group Class using a referral code and attends the course for which they registered.
The Refer-a-Friend Program does not apply to siblings.
Students may not refer each other to both qualify for the Refer-a-Friend Discount.
Tuition credit will be applied within 4-6 weeks from the time the referred client registers and pays in full. If the referred friend cancels his/her Program, the credit will be removed, and you will be responsible for any account balance that is created as a result of the lost credit.
All tuition credits must be used in the year in which they are earned, can be used to offset Program tuition and other fees incurred, but do not entitle you to any form of payment.
Tuition credits have no cash value.

VIII. Certificates/Vouchers
All certificates/vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash. Certificates/vouchers must be redeemed at the time of registration. Certificates/vouchers are valid until the specified expiration date, without exception. They are valid for up to the amount issued, and any amounts not used are forfeited.

IX. General Releases

Media Release: As a condition of participation, you authorize iD Tech and its partners to take photos, videos, images, audio, and testimonials of you and your student and agree that said content may be used by iD Tech in promotional materials, marketing collateral, and online media. These images, testimonials, photos, videos, and audio may be shared and used by corporate partners, the media, or other organizations that work with iD Tech. You also agree that all projects and work created by your student during an iD Tech Program may be used by iD Tech in promotional materials, online, and other print media, and may be shared and used by corporate partners, the media, or other organizations that work with iD Tech. You understand that iD Tech, its owners, agents, partners, facility providers, and employees will not be held liable for damages and injuries associated with use of any content released herein, including any and all claims based on negligence. You agree that all images, testimonials, photos, video, and audio taken at or in connection with an iD Tech Program are the sole and exclusive property of iD Tech, and that iD Tech has a royalty-free, perpetual license to use copies of all student work and projects created at an iD Tech Program.
Name and Likeness Release: As a condition of participation, you authorize iD Tech and the press to use your student's full name and likeness in print, radio, TV, and other mediums.
Project/Hardware Release: Some iD Tech Programs are project-based. In such instances, iD Tech will attempt to provide your student with the knowledge to produce a working project. Some iD Tech Programs include take home hardware. In those instances, iD Tech will send home a product or voucher for a product. However, there will be instances when a project or product or product voucher cannot be sent home, posted or delivered, and you agree that iD Tech is not responsible if the game, project, product or voucher does not work properly and/or is not compatible with outside systems. You release iD Tech from any responsibility for failure to provide a copy of the project or product voucher, or a non-functioning/non-compatible/non-complete game, project, product voucher or product. Refunds will not be issued for not receiving products, product vouchers, or being provided a copy of the project, and/or non-functioning/non-compatible/non-complete projects, product vouchers or products. If you have issues with a product voucher or product, you must contact the manufacturer directly. Product vouchers only cover shipping within the continental U.S. Therefore, if you require the product to be shipped outside the continental US, you are responsible for all shipping and handling costs.
Software Accounts: Some iD Tech Program activities require creation and/or use of an online account or require an online account to be created for your student. You consent to create or have iD Tech to create accounts as needed for your student to participate in Program activities. During non-instructional time, students may have access to websites that require accounts to be set up. While it is against iD Tech rules for students to set up accounts without their instructor’s permission, there may be instances where a student may create an account without the knowledge of iD Tech or its employees. In such instances, you release iD Tech and its employees from any and all responsibility and liability for accounts created by your student without iD Tech’s knowledge.
Game Ratings: iD Tech takes its corporate responsibility and family values very seriously. However, we cannot guarantee that younger students at iD Tech will avoid all contact with or mention of games rated "T" for Teen, or "M" for Mature. iD Tech will make a concerted effort to minimize both direct and indirect exposure to any games not rated for a student’s age group. Students attending courses designed for older ages have a greater chance of being exposed to materials rated for that older age group. If a student is attending a course for ages 13+, they may be exposed to games rated "M" for Mature by the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board). You voluntarily assume any and all risks, known or unknown, associated with your student’s exposure to game content at an iD Tech Program.

X. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold internalDrive Inc. /iD Tech, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your student’s participation in an iD Tech Program.

XI. Arbitration Agreement
You agree that any dispute other than collection matters, arising out of or relating to this Agreement, you or your student's participation in a Program with INTERNALDRIVE, INC., or otherwise arising between the parties, including, without limitation, any statutorily created or protected rights, as permitted by applicable state/provincial or federal laws, shall be settled by arbitration to be held in Santa Clara County, California, in accordance with the Commercial Rules of the American Arbitration Association, and judgment upon the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. The prevailing party in the arbitration shall be entitled to recover expenses including costs and reasonable attorney's fees associated therewith. Should any part of this contract be found invalid or not enforceable by a court of law, then the remaining portion shall continue to be valid and in force. You hereby acknowledge that you understand the terms of this ARBITRATION AGREEMENT, and you agree to comply with all of its terms and provisions.

XII. Rights Reserved
internalDrive, Inc. reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. iD Tech is not a university-sponsored program. iD Tech reserves the right to cancel or modify any and all classes, lessons, Programs, or courses for any reason.

XIII. Release of Liability
ON BEHALF OF MY SON/DAUGHTER/WARD, I, THE PARENT/GUARDIAN, IN EXCHANGE FOR THE RIGHT OF MY SON/DAUGHTER/WARD TO PARTICIPATE IN ID TECH PROGRAM(S), HEREBY RELEASE INTERNALDRIVE, INC., ITS OWNERS, AGENTS, PARTNERS, FACILITY PROVIDERS AND EMPLOYEES FROM LIABILITY (INCLUDING CLAIMS BASED UPON NEGLIGENCE) FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGES OR INJURIES TO MY SON/DAUGHTER/WARD OR DAMAGE OF ANY PERSONAL PROPERTY. I AGREE TO BE FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL SUCH DAMAGES OR INJURIES WHICH MAY RESULT DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM ANY NEGLIGENT ACTS OR ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH INTERNALDRIVE, INC. HOWEVER, I UNDERSTAND THAT I AM NOT RELEASING INTERNALDRIVE, INC., ITS OWNERS, AGENTS, PARTNERS, FACILITY PROVIDERS, AND EMPLOYEES FROM GROSS NEGLIGENCE, RECKLESS CONDUCT OR INTENTIONALLY TORTIOUS CONDUCT. TO THE EXTENT THIS RELEASE CONFLICTS WITH STATE/PROVINCIAL LAW GOVERNING RELEASES, THIS RELEASE IS TO BE GIVEN THE FULLEST FORCE AND EFFECT PERMITTED UNDER STATE/PROVINCIAL LAW. SHOULD ANY PART OF THIS CONTRACT BE FOUND INVALID OR NOT ENFORCEABLE BY A COURT OF LAW, THEN THE REMAINING PORTION SHALL CONTINUE TO BE VALID AND IN FORCE.

XIV. Copyright
iD Tech partners with and uses the intellectual property of some amazing companies. You and your student agree to uphold the copyright and trademark rights of iD Tech, its partners, and any company whose products are used during an iD Tech Program.

STANFORD UNIVERSITY:

Assumption of Risk, Release of Claims and Hold Harmless Agreement

The parties to this Agreement are the student attending an iD Tech Program at Stanford University (Participant), Participant's parents or legal guardian, if Participant is under 18, (all referred to hereafter jointly and severally as "Participant") and the Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University its officers, trustees, faculty, agents, representatives, volunteers, students and employees (collectively referred to hereafter as "Stanford”) for iD Tech programs held at Stanford University (“Event”) (“Stanford” and “Event” are collectively referred to hereafter as “Released Parties”).

Assumption of Risk. Participant is a voluntary participant in this Event. Participant understands and agrees that the Event and any related activities may be dangerous, may involve travel, and that neither the Event nor Stanford can guarantee the safety of Participant. Participant is responsible for researching and evaluating the risks he/she may face and is responsible for his/her actions. Any activities in which Participant may take part, whether as a component of the Event or separate from it, have been undertaken with Participant's understanding and acceptance of any and all risks involved, which include but are not limited to physical or psychological injury, pain, suffering, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability, economic or emotional loss, property loss or damage, loss of income or career opportunities, and/or death. Participant understands that these injuries or outcomes may arise from his/her own or others’ actions, inaction, or negligence; conditions related to travel; or the condition of the location where the Event is taking place. Nonetheless, Participant assumes all related risks, both known or unknown, whether or not listed above, of his/her participation in the Event, including travel to, from and during the Event.

Physical Condition and Insurance. Participant attests that she/he is physically and mentally capable of participating and has no known health or other restrictions that might jeopardize her/his safety or health or the safety or health of others during their participation in the Event. Participant gives permission for Stanford or its representative to provide immediate and reasonable emergency care should it be required. Participant agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Stanford from any claims, causes of action, damages and/or liabilities, arising out of or resulting from said medical treatment or emergency care.

Participant agrees to be solely responsible for payment in full of all costs of medical or emergency care she/he may receive.

Video Release. Participant agrees that Stanford may record, edit, use, reproduce, publish and distribute by way of any and all media and transmission, the visual and/or audio likeness of Participant and other commentaries, information, and materials the Participant may provide in connection with the Event, which includes, without limitation, Participant’s name, biographical information, recorded voice, likeness, commentaries, presentation materials, and/or performance at the Event. Stanford is further granted permission to use such materials for educational, fund-raising, promotional or other purposes worldwide and in perpetuity Participant agrees that Stanford will be held harmless from any liability that may arise regarding the production, use, and distribution of such materials as described herein, and Stanford is hereby released from any claims relating to the rights granted above.

Waiver and Release of Claims. In consideration of being accepted into and/or participating in the Event, Participant agrees to and hereby does, for Participant and on behalf of Participant’s heirs, executors, administrators, employers, agents, representatives, insurers, and attorneys, release and discharge Stanford of and from any and all claims which may arise from any cause whatsoever, including claims arising from any negligent act or omission by Stanford or others. Participant further releases and discharges Stanford from liability for any accident, illness, injury, loss or damage to personal property, or any other consequences, arising or resulting directly or indirectly from Participant's participation in the Event.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless. Participant hereby agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Stanford from any and all claims of injury, loss or liability whatsoever including reasonable attorneys' fees and/or any other associated costs, that may arise as a result of his/her participation in the Event. If Stanford incurs any of these types of expenses, Participant agrees to reimburse Stanford.

To the extent Participant engages in activities that are not part of the Event and from which Participant may sustain personal injury or other damage to him/herself or property, or cause others to be injured or sustain other damage including damage to their property, Participant understands that neither Stanford, nor any of its employees, officers, directors, volunteers, and agents will be held responsible regardless of cause or fault.

Adherence to Standards. Participant understands and agrees to abide by all Stanford policies, rules, and regulations applicable to the Event.

Severability. It is understood and agreed that, if any provision of this Agreement or the application thereof is held invalid, the invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of this Agreement which can be given effect without the invalid provisions or applications. To this end, the provisions of this Agreement are declared severable.

Governing Law and Venue. This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with, and governed by, the laws of the State of California. The venue for any action arising out of this Agreement shall be the County of Santa Clara, State of California. The parties agree to submit to jurisdiction in the State Courts, Santa Clara County, California.

Construction and Scope of Agreement. The language of all parts of this Agreement shall in all cases be construed as a whole, according to its fair meaning, and not strictly for or against any party. This Agreement is the only, sole, entire, and complete agreement of the parties relating in any way to the subject matter hereof. No statements, promises, or representations have been made by any party to any other, or relied upon, and no consideration has been offered or promised, other than as may be expressly provided herein. This Assumption of Risk, Release of Claims, Indemnification, and Hold Harmless and Agreement supersedes any earlier written or oral understandings or agreements between the parties.

Participant acknowledges that he/she has read this Assumption of Risk, Release of Claims, Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement, understands its meaning and effect, and agrees to be bound by its terms.

WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY IN ST. LOUIS

Parent/Guardian Approval for Participation

I hereby certify and agree that my child/student has my approval to participate in the iD Tech program (hereinafter "the Activity") to be held at Washington University in St. Louis.

I know the nature of the Activity and My Child's experience and capabilities and consider My Child to be qualified to participate in the Activity. However, I acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury or illness associated with the Activity.

In return for My Child's participation in the Activity: I fully and forever RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, ACQUIT, INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS and COVENANT NOT TO SUE, Washington University in St. Louis, including its governing board, officers, employees, students, agents and volunteers (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Releasees") from any and all liabilities, claims, or injuries, including death, that may be sustained while participating in this activity, including but not limited to travel to, from, and for the activity, or while on premises owned or controlled by Releasees. I understand this release does not apply to injuries caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct on the part of the Releasees. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Releasees for any loss, liability, claim or injury caused by me (my child) while participating in this activity including traveling to, from, and for the activity, or while on premises owned or controlled by Releasees.

I recognize that the Releasees do not assume responsibility for or liability for – including costs and attorney's fees – any accident or injury or damage resulting from any aspect of participation in the Activity. The Releasees are not liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with any aspect of participation in the Activity.

I also give permission for My Child to receive any emergency medical treatment by a healthcare professional, including emergency medical transportation, which may be required for injuries sustained by My Child. However, I agree that the Releasees (including, but not limited to, each of the Releasees' regents, boards, agents, employees, officers or representatives) are not responsible for any medical bill incurred as a result of any personal illness or injury to My Child, even if a Releasee has signed hospital documentation promising to pay for the treatment. That medical bill is my responsibility.

I understand that agreeing to this document, I give up substantial rights that I or My Child would have otherwise to receive damages for any loss occasioned by Releasees' fault, and I agree to it voluntarily and without inducement.

Summer Program Permission Slip / Rules & Regulations

Residence hall rules and regulations with regard to student conduct and the use of facilities are established in compliance with state and federal laws and the University of Michigan Regents’ by-laws. Program registration is predicated upon the understanding and compliance with these rules and regulations. All program participants, students, must abide by our rules and regulations regardless of age. This includes counselors, organizers, and any program personnel residing and visiting in the residence halls. The cooperation of everyone is required if summer programs are to be successful and rewarding for all participants. Important Note to Participants and Custodial Parents and Legal Guardians. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you confirm that you understand and agree to abide by the full content of the Rules and Regulations as documented by the university. RESIDENCE HALL RULES AND REGULATIONS

CONDUCT

Acts of discrimination or discriminatory harassment based upon an individual’s race, sex, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry, age, marital status, handicap, Vietnam-era status, or sexual orientation are a serious violation of University policy and will be dealt with promptly. Sexual harassment is illegal under both state and federal law. In some cases, it may be susceptible to prosecution under the criminal sexual conduct law.

Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, laser pens, fireworks, explosives, and all weapons are absolutely prohibited in the hall. It is against the law to tamper or misuse building fire alarm or fire-fighting equipment. Tampering with or misuse of elevator alarms, emergency call buttons or calling 911 from a room or elevator telephone, except in an emergency, is against the law. Penalties will be enforced.

Each room will be inspected prior to arrival and before departure and any damages to the room or to University property will be assessed and charged to the program, which may then be assessed to the participant. The room must be left in the same condition as it was during move in. Do not fasten anything to the walls or tamper with window screens. Excessive mess resulting in extra housekeeping hours will result in a charge to the program, and may be passed on to the student.

Appropriate behavior is expected at all times. Engaging in sexual contact with another student is a violation of our conduct policy. Leaving the program or residence hall without permission and appropriate supervision is a violation of our conduct policy. Bullying, taunting or threatening behavior toward other students is a violation of our conduct policy. Excessive noise or rowdiness will not be tolerated. Dangerous behavior, including fighting, is a violation and will not be tolerated. Throwing items out of residence hall windows is a conduct violation.

The use of candles, open flames, explosives, smoke bombs, “snaps”, or fireworks is dangerous and will not be tolerated in the residence halls, or at any U-M facility.

WE ARE A SMOKE FREE CAMPUS. SMOKING ON CAMPUS OR IN OUR BUILDINGS IS PROHIBITED.

AGE ELIGIBILITY

All students residing in a University of Michigan residence hall must be ten (10) years of age on or before the start of their program. There are no exceptions to this policy.

MEDICATIONS

All medications prescribed by a doctor must be dispensed by program nurse or counselors. Please fill out the medical forms and bring medications to the attention of the program staff at registration. Housing staff are not authorized to dispense medications.

VISITORS

ALL VISITORS, INCLUDING PARENTS MUST CHECK-IN FIRST WITH THE FRONT DESK WHEN VISITING A STUDENT. Only students and program staff are allowed in the living areas of the building. At no time are students permitted in the living areas to which they are not assigned. Students may only be checked out of the residence hall by a parent/guardian or program staff. Visitors, other than parents, who may be taking the student from the residence hall, must be approved by the parent/guardian during registration.

KEYS AND STUDENT IDENTIFICATION

Students are identified in a variety of ways including room keys and lanyards. Some programs may use wristbands. Any identification specific to the program will be issued along with a room keycard and lanyard at check-in. If the identification is lost, a replacement may be obtained at the front desk or from a staff member. The room keycard and identification should not be loaned to anyone and are not transferable.

MEAL TIMES

You may eat at any time during the hours your program has designated for meals. Students may be asked to show program identification at mealtime. In the case of lost identification, help is always available from dining and program staff. Meal hours will be provided by your program staff and are available from residence hall staff as well. Students are expected to eat meals in their assigned dining facility during their designated meal times. Food allergies should be reported to the program and dining staff prior to the student’s arrival.

TELEPHONES

Land lines are being phased out of residence halls due to the prevailing use of cell phones by our students. Students may place collect and credit card calls from their room phone (if available) and receive long distance calls. Counselors will assist students with urgent telephone needs.

MOTOR VEHICLES

Students are not to bring private automobiles or motorcycles to the University. If it is necessary for a student to drive, please discuss permission and parking with the program organizers. The vehicle must be registered and the keys turned in to the program organizers/counselors during the entire program. The University assumes no responsibility for a stored vehicle on University property.

PERSONAL PROPERTY

The University assumes no responsibility for personal property. Please leave valuable electronic items at home. Bring only a small amount of personal expense money with you since the halls do not have any secured storage facilities. You may wish to consult with your insurance company regarding coverage of your personal property while away at program.

FOR SECURITY, ROOM DOORS ARE TO BE LOCKED AT ALL TIMES.

DAMAGES

Room checks will be conducted by program staff to determine room damages. Any damages caused in the rooms or common areas will be charged to the program. The program may decide to pass along damage expenses to the student.

Other recommended items include an alarm clock, a fan and sun block. Students may bring water or beverages to keep in their rooms. Refrigerators are not available through the Residence Hall.

EARLY DEPARTURES

If a student must leave before the official ending date for the program, a parent or guardian must notify the program organizers, and fill out any necessary forms with the program. If the student is being picked up by someone other than the person designated parent/guardian, written permission naming the responsible adult must be placed on the back of the registration card, during registration, prior to the student being released. A signed Early Release form from the program organizer must be turned in upon checking out from the resident hall. Identification is required.

PENALTIES

VIOLATION OF THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS MAY RESULT IN DISCIPLINE, UP TO AND INCLUDING IMMEDIATE DISMISSAL FROM THE PROGRAM AND SUBSEQUENT U-M PROGRAMS.

Students are reminded about proper behavior upon their arrival. Inappropriate behavior will be pointed out and verbal warnings will be given to students by organizers and counselors to correct the behavior. Students who endanger themselves or others, or who continue to commit violations after having been warned, will be sent home. The parent/guardian will be notified and asked to pick up the student immediately.

In consideration for being allowed to participate in this Activity and/or use of the Premises or Facility, on behalf of myself and my next of kin, heirs and representatives, I release from all liability and promise not to sue the State of California, the Trustees of the California State University, California State University San Marcos, and their employees, officers, directors, volunteers and agents (collectively “University”) and the California State University San Marcos Corporation (CSUSM Corporation), Associated Students, Inc., California State University San Marcos Foundation, University Village Apartments, The QUAD, Urban Villages San Marcos (UVSM), Capstone On-Campus Management (COCM) and their employees, officers, directors, volunteers and agents (collectively “Auxiliary Organizations”) from any and all claims, including claims of the University’s or Auxiliary Organization’s negligence, resulting in any physical or psychological injury (including paralysis and death), illness, damages, or economic or emotional loss I may suffer because of my participation in this Activity, including travel to, from and during the Activity.

I am voluntarily participating in this Activity. I am aware of the risks associated with traveling to/from and participating in this Activity, which include but are not limited to physical or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability (including paralysis), economic or emotional loss, and/or death and/or property damage. I understand that these injuries or outcomes may arise from my own or other’s actions, inaction, or negligence; conditions related to travel; or the condition of the Activity location(s). Nonetheless, I assume all related risks, both known or unknown to me, of my participation in this Activity, including travel to, from and during the Activity.

I agree to hold the University and the Auxiliary Organizations harmless from any and all claims, including attorney’s fees or damage to my personal property that may occur as a result of my participation in this Activity, including travel to, from and during the Activity. If the University or the Auxiliary Organizations incur any of these types of expenses, I agree to reimburse the University or the Auxiliary Organizations. If I need medical treatment, I agree to be financially responsible for any costs incurred as a result of such treatment. I am aware and understand that I should carry my own health insurance.

I am 18 years or older. I understand the legal consequences of signing this document, including (a) releasing the University and the Auxiliary Organizations from all liability, (b) promising not to sue the University and the Auxiliary Organizations (c) and assuming all risks of participating in this Activity, including travel to, from and during the Activity.

I understand that this document is written to be as broad and inclusive as legally permitted by the State of California. I agree that if any portion is held invalid or unenforceable, I will continue to be bound by the remaining terms.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions I give permission for my child to participate in iD Tech’s camps/academies. I acknowledge that the nature of the camp/conference could possibly expose my child to hazards or risks that could result in illness, personal injury, or death and I understand and appreciate the nature of such hazards and risks. I grant UT Dallas and its employees full authority to take whatever action they may consider to be warranted under any circumstances regarding the protection of my child’s health and safety. I understand and agree that if my child does not comply with all the rules, code of conduct, and instructions relating to this camp/academy, UT Dallas has the right to terminate his/her participation in this camp/conference without refund.

In consideration for my child being permitted to participate in the camp/conference, I, on behalf of myself and my child, accept all risk to my child's health and of his/her injury or death that may result from such participation, including transportation and all other adjunct activities, and release UT Dallas, its governing board, officers, employees and representatives from any and all liability to my child, his/her personal representatives, estate, heirs, next of kin, and assigns for any and all claims and causes of action for loss of or damage to my child’s property and for any and all illness or injury to his/her person, including death, that may result from or occur during participation in the camp/academy, whether caused by any type of negligence of UTD, its governing board, officers, employees, or representatives, or otherwise. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless UT Dallas and its governing board, officers, employees, and representatives from liability for the injury or death of any person(s) and damage to property that may result from my child's negligent or intentional act or omission while participating in the described camp/academy.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions I give permission for my child to participate in all activities of iD Tech (the “Event”) held on Harvard University’s campus. I understand that the Event is run by iD Tech. I further understand that Harvard University does not own, control, or present the Event nor is in any way responsible for the Event or the instruction, supervision or monitoring of my child while on campus.

I also agree, on behalf of myself and my child, to assume all risks related to participation in the Event, including but not limited to accident, death, injury or illness, including personal or bodily or mental injury of any nature. I further, on behalf of myself, my child and anyone claiming through myself or my child, do FOREVER RELEASE President and Fellows of Harvard College (“Harvard”), its trustees, officers, employees, volunteers, students, agents and assigns from any cause of action, claims, or demands of any nature whatsoever, including but not limited to a claim of negligence which I, my child, or anyone claiming through myself or my child, may now or in the future have against Harvard on account of personal injury, bodily injury, property damage, death or accident of any kind, arising out of or in any way related to my child’s participation in the Event howsoever the injury is caused.

Authorization and Release

I am the parent or legal guardian of a minor attending iDTech Camps. I give my permission for my child to be on the campus of the California Institute of Technology (“Caltech”) as part of the iD Tech Camp on the dates for which I registered. The activities of the iD Tech Camp include computer programming and application design; recreational activities.
I understand that the iD Tech Camp is a separate entity from, and in no way related to, Caltech. I understand that iD Tech Camp has simply contracted with Caltech to hold its camp on the Caltech campus, and that Caltech has no involvement in the camp, including but not limited to, no supervision or teaching of my child. I understand that my child’s participation in iD Tech Camp is completely voluntary. I further understand that there are inherent risks of injury, serious bodily harm, or death associated with the iD Tech Camp. In particular, the risks of iD Tech Camp include but are not limited to, personal physical injury, equipment malfunction and/or failure including, damage to property, actions of other people, and other injuries arising out of or connected with iD Tech Camp. I expressly agree to accept and assume all such risks, including personal injury and death, arising in any way from my child’s participation in iD Tech Camp.
I represent that my child has no physical or mental condition that prevents him/her from participating in iD Tech Camp in a manner that is safe for my child and others, and acknowledge that it is my responsibility to take all appropriate actions in advance of my child’s participation in iD Tech Camp. I further acknowledge and agree that I have the responsibility to consult with my child’s physician to determine if medical conditions exist that would pose a direct threat to my child’s health or safety or the health or safety of others.
In consideration of the benefit my child will receive from participating in iD Tech Camp, I hereby agree, on behalf of my child, myself and on behalf of my child’s and my assignees, descendants, dependents, heirs, next of kin, distributees, parents, guardians, executors, administrators, successors, estate, and legal or personal representatives, to release and discharge and promise not to sue Caltech and any subsidiary or affiliate or government sponsor of Caltech (collectively referred to as “Caltech”), as well as any person acting in his/her capacity as employee, officer, trustee, agent, contractor, or representative of Caltech (collectively referred to as “Released Parties”), from and with respect to any and all claims, demands, actions, suits, causes of action, and liabilities of whatever kind or nature in law, equity or otherwise, that may arise from, are related to, or are in any way connected with iD Tech Camp, including injury, death, damage or loss, whether it results from the negligence of Caltech and/or any other Released Parties, or from any other cause, provided, however, that this does not extend to gross negligence, willful misconduct or a violation of law by Caltech or any other Released Parties. I knowingly and voluntarily waive any and all rights and benefits conferred upon me by the provisions of Section 1542 of the California Civil Code or by any similar law or provision, which Section reads as follows: “A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS WHICH THE CREDITOR DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE, WHICH IF KNOWN BY HIM OR HER MUST HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR.”
I understand and agree that if a claim, suit, or attachment is brought or sought against me as a result in any way of my child’s participation in iD Tech Camp, I shall not be entitled to any defense or indemnification by Caltech or the Released Parties in connection with such claim, suit, or attachment. I agree to indemnify Caltech and the Released Parties for any and all claims and liabilities against them arising out of or relating to my child’s participation in iD Tech Camp.
In case of an emergency and if I cannot be reached I, the undersigned parent or guardian of the above named child, do hereby consent to any x-ray, anesthetic, medical, or surgical diagnosis or treatment and hospital care deemed advisable and rendered by any licensed physician or surgeon. This authorization is given in advance of any required care to empower a representative or other official of Caltech or iD Tech Camp to give consent for such treatment as the physician may deem advisable. This authorization is effective unless revoked in writing. I accept full responsibility for any medical expenses incurred as a result of these actions.
I agree that Caltech has the right to make, use, create derivative works, and/or display and photos, video and/or audio tape recordings of my child. I understand that my child may be photographed and/or video or audio taped verbatim and that Caltech may allow persons external to Caltech to view the pictures or recordings in part or in their entirety. I am fully aware and agree that such use of my child’s image may include posting on publicly available internet sites, including Caltech sites and other publicly viewable social media sites. I waive any right that I may have to review or approve of any finished products, or the uses to which such products may be applied. I release and discharge Caltech and the Released Parties from any liability to me by virtue of any representation that may occur in the creation or use of said photos and/or video or audio tape recordings.
I represent and warrant that I have the full right, power and authority to enter into and execute this Release and to grant all rights granted under it. This Agreement shall be governed by, construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS AUTHORIZATION AND RELEASE AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY, AN ASSUMPTION OF RISK, A PROMISE NOT TO SUE OR MAKE CLAIM, AND A PHOTO, VIDEO AND AUDIO RELEASE AND I ACCEPT THIS OF MY OWN FREE WILL.

I am the parent/guardian of a student (“the participant”) that desires to voluntarily participate in the conference (“the Conference”) operated by iD Tech (the“Organization”) which will be held at Loyola University of Chicago (“Loyola”). I am over the age of 18, have read and understand the terms below, and am voluntarily allowing the participant to participate in the Conference at Loyola. I hereby warrant and represent that my student is physically fit and does not have any medical condition or physical limitations that would put them at risk for injury as a result of my participation in the Conference. In consideration of my student’s voluntary participation in the Conference and use of Loyola’s facilities, (i) I hereby assume all risks of injury which may result from my student’s participation in the Conference and use of Loyola’s facilities, and (ii) I agree, on behalf of myself, my student and our heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, to waive, indemnify, hold harmless, release and discharge Loyola, its affiliates, including Mundelein College, and their respective officers, trustees, directors, employees, agents, successors and assigns from any and all claims, damages, demands, rights of action or causes of action, present or future, known or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, resulting from, or arising out of, my student’s participation in the Conference, and use of Loyola’s facilities. I, and my student agree to abide by all of the rules and regulations of Loyola in effect during my student's participation in the Conference. I understand that Loyola is not affiliated with the Organization and that Loyola is not a sponsor or co-sponsor of the Conference, but is merely allowing the Organization to use its facilities for the Conference. I have read and understand the foregoing and affirm that my student is participating in the Conference of his/her own free will.

iD Tech Programs

This Release is made on the undersigned date by and between the undersigned (or if a child under 18 years of age, on behalf of the child by the child's parent or legal guardian) and the Town of Westlake/Westlake Academy. The parties hereto agree and covenant as follows:

The undersigned hereby fully releases, indemnifies, and holds harmless the Town, its elected officials, agents, employees and all others associated with the Town of Westlake/Westlake Academy, in both their public and private capacities, from any and all claims, demands, judgments, damages, expenses, attorney's fees, actions and causes of action arising out of or in any way connected with the participation in any activities connected with the use of the Town's facilities. This provision applies to any and all programs, facilities and activities, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
The undersigned acknowledges that by signing this Release, he/she has read and understands this Release, that he/she has signed this Release of his/her own free will and not under duress or coercion, and that he/she has the authority to execute this Release.
The undersigned acknowledges and fully understands that all activities involve risk, and the undersigned agrees to fully assume responsibility for any and all risks including, but not limited to, physical injury, death, and loss or damage of personal property. Further, the Town assumes no liability of any kind and is not responsible for the actions of other individuals or participants at its facilities.
The undersigned acknowledges and fully understands that this Release, and all provisions contained therein is fully applicable, in its entirety, to guests, children, or any third party present as a result of the undersigned's presence or participation of any activity held at Town facilities.
The terms of this Release are contractual and not a mere recital. Further, this Release shall be permanently binding upon the undersigned, his/her agents, successors, third parties, and legal representatives.

THE UNDERSIGNED DOES HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE INDEMNIFIED PARTIES FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY AND SHALL DEFEND OR PAY JUDGMENTS AGAINST IT AND/OR THE INDEMNIFIED PARTIES, FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS OR CAUSES OF ACTION, INCLUDING REASONABLE AND NECESSARY COSTS, INCLUDING ATTORNEY'S FEES INCURRED IN DEFENSE OF ANY SUCH CLAIM, WHICH ANY OTHER PERSON, FIRM, OR CORPORATION HAS OR MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF/OR RESULTING FROM THE PARTICIPATION IN THE METROPLEX SELECT ATHLETIC PROGRAM REFERENCED HEREIN, OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED THERETO.
I/We warrant that the undersigned is the parent or legal guardian of the child referenced herein and that I/We have the legal authority to enter into this Agreement and further that the undersigned have read this Agreement and fully understand all provisions referenced herein.

SAN JOSE STATE UNIVERSITY

University Housing Conference Services Minor Participation Agreement

I recognize that my child/ward (herein referred to as “Participant”) will be hosted by Conference Services at San José State University (herein referred to as “University”) as a part of the iD Tech Program (herein referred to as “Group”).

I recognize that by signing this agreement I acknowledge my commitment to support the Participant’s involvement with this Group and with the University. I understand the Participant’s involvement with this Group and with the University, and I am aware of the following responsibilities of the Participant:

University Policies. I/we understand that the Participant must abide by University policies, including the Conference Services Guest Regulations and Minor Regulations, which can be provided by your Group leader(s). The Participant must remain under supervision by Group staff/chaperone at all times while on campus. The Participant may be subject to disciplinary action, potentially as severe as removal from campus, for violations of those policies.
University Setting. I/we understand that the University, as a public college campus in the United States of America, is host to many traditional public forums, which are places that by long tradition have been used by the public at large for the free exchange of ideas. These traditional public informs, including but not limited to outdoor areas (e.g. sidewalks, lawns, etc.), are open to the public, and the University cannot restrict access to or use of the areas by anyone (unless a compelling governmental interest is presented to limit time, place, or manner of the access/use).
Residence Halls. I/we understand that the residence halls that the Participant will be living in are secure, non public forums and access to these facilities is limited only to approved staff and guests (i.e. others living and/or working in these facilities). Participants are expected to stay overnight in the accommodations arranged for them by the University. Specific room and housing assignments are made at the discretion of the Group and the University.
Tobacco Free Campus. I/we understand that in accordance with Presidential Directive 2014-01, smoking and tobacco products are prohibited in all indoor and outdoor areas on campus, including vehicles and parking lots. The sale of tobacco products is prohibited, as is tobacco related advertising and sponsorship. More information regarding the Tobacco Free campus policy can be found at http://www.sjsu.edu/tobaccofree/.
Removal from Campus. I/we understand that if the Participant disrupts the Group’s planned activities or the Participant's behavior gives the Group leader(s) reasonable cause to believe that the Participant’s continued presence with the Group poses a danger to the health or safety of persons or property, or impedes, disrupts or obstructs the Group’s or University’s functions in any way, The Participant may be removed from the Group program and from the University campus. Examples of grounds for immediate removal from campus include alcohol, drug and weapons related violations, assault, and sexual or racial harassment. Barring emergent need for want of safety, before the Participant may be removed from campus, The Participant will have an opportunity to explain their conduct to the Group leader(s). Any decision to remove the Participant from campus would be final. If the Participant is removed from campus for disciplinary reasons, I, as the Participant’s parent/guardian, will be responsible for their return home.
Hygiene and Health. I/we understand that the Participant will be responsible for their own hygiene and health maintenance. In the event of serious illness, accident or emergency, the Participant will inform an appropriate Group official so that assistance may be secured and so that the Participant’s designated emergency contact may be notified. I agree to disclose the Participant’s pre-existing mental and/or physical health conditions in entirety on the waiver/release of liability provided to me by the Group. I/we understand that a situation arising from such a condition that has not been disclosed in advance which places the Participant, others, and/or the Group or University at risk may result in the Participant being removed from campus.
I will check relevant agencies such as the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) to check on required immunizations for the United States of America and the state of California. It is my responsibility and choice to obtain any required or recommended immunizations suggested by these agencies for the Participant in a timely manner prior to the Participant's participation with the Group.
Governing Law. I/we understand that the Participant must obey all federal, state, and local laws that the University community is held to. Any dispute arising from this Agreement will be determined according to the law of the United States of America and the State of California.
Program-Specific Additions to this Agreement. The Group may establish additional rules and policies regarding issues specific to that Group provided that they do not negate or contradict the policies of this Agreement or other Conference Services regulations and policies. I/we understand that the Participant will be responsible for understanding and abiding by any such additional rules while participating with the Group.
Communication. I will respond within 24 hours to all calls from the Group leader(s) regarding the Participant’s participation with the Group. Failure to respond to calls in a timely manner may result in the Participant's removal from campus.
Use of Photos, Quotes, and Other Materials. I/we authorize the use of materials pertaining to the Group’s functions to be used for marketing purposes by the University or the Group, including but not limited to photographs, quotes and other materials as deemed appropriate by the University or the Group.

NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY

iD Tech LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE

Please read this form carefully and be aware that in seeking permission from Northwestern University for your child to participate in a Northwestern University event, you will be waiving all claims for injuries you might sustain arising out of your participation. Participation in this event is voluntary and at your own discretion and judgement.

As a participant in the iD Tech Summer Camp for the summer of 2022, I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury and I agree to assume the full risk of any injuries, damages, or loss that I may sustain. Such risks inherent to this event may include: bodily injury.

I do hereby fully release and discharge Northwestern University, its trustees, officers, agents and employees from any and all claims from injuries, damages or loss that may accrue to me on account of my participation in the iD Tech Summer Camp.

I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless and defend Northwestern University, its officers, agents and employees from injuries, damages, and loss sustained by me and arising out of, connected with, or in any way associated with my participation in the iD Tech Summer Camp.

I have fully read and understand the foregoing. It is my express intent that this agreement shall bind the members of my family, my heirs and assigns. This agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois.

Additional Terms and Conditions For Participants Attending

FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON UNIVERSITY

Release, Indemnification, and Hold Harmless Agreement

In consideration for the Attendee being permitted to participate in the iD Tech Program (“Activity”), I do waive and release forever any and all rights for claims and damages I may have against Fairleigh Dickinson University, its trustees, officers, agents, and employees, from and against any and all liability for any harm, injury damage, claims demands, actions, costs, and expenses of any nature which Attendee, whether caused by negligence or carelessness on the part of the Fairleigh Dickinson University, it officers, agents, and employees, or otherwise, while Attendee is in, on, upon, or in transit to or from the premises where the Activity, or any adjunct to the Activity, occurs or is being conducted.

I accept, understand and assume that there is a risk of injury in this Activity, due to the physical nature of the Activity, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, and being injured by equipment used in the camp. Attendee agrees to follow all instructions and to wear all necessary, recommended, and appropriate protective gear and equipment.

I understand that this Activity is neither administered nor sponsored by Fairleigh Dickinson University and that iD Tech is providing this instruction or camp outside the scope of his/her employment with Fairleigh Dickinson University. I agree to release, hold harmless, and indemnify Fairleigh Dickinson University, its trustees, officers, agents, and employees from any and all claims and liability arising out of the Activity.

I acknowledge that the foregoing release may include any Camp employee(s) that may also be employees of the University, but the release is not intended to waive any rights I may have against the Camp, or any Camp employee in their role as Camp employee.

MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (MIT)

I hereby acknowledge and understand that iD Tech is a privately run program and is not operated by or through MIT. The program is neither sponsored, controlled, nor supervised by MIT and is under the sole sponsorship and supervision of the program organizer, iD Tech Camps. I acknowledge that I have read the MITnet Rules of Use (https://ist.mit.edu/network/rules) and understand my obligations as a user of MIT computer services and technology and as a participant in iD Tech programs. Additionally, I agree to use the MIT computers and the Internet in accordance with applicable laws, with Institute standards of honesty and personal conduct, and in ways that are responsible, mature, and ethical.

These additional Terms and Conditions are intended to keep students safe and make iD Tech Online programs positive and productive. By purchasing, using, or allowing your student to use any of iD Tech's Online programs, you agree that you and your student will abide and be bound by these Terms and Conditions as well as iD Tech’s General Terms and Conditions found HERE. In cases where these Terms and Conditions and iD Tech’s General Terms and Conditions conflict, the terms found herein apply to any iD Tech Online Program or Product.

I. Online Private Lessons (OPL)

A. General Information

Multi-lesson packs are intended to be used in full, and unused lessons will not be refunded.
Subscriptions shall renew each month on the date indicated at the time of purchase.
All lessons must be scheduled within one year of purchase. Lessons expire a year from purchase, with no refund.
Fees for Online Private Lessons are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Lessons not used by the expiration date are forfeited and cannot be refunded in full or prorated.
Lessons can be rescheduled for any reason up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson through your My Account. If your student fails to attend a scheduled lesson, the lesson will be deducted from your available sessions. No changes can be made within 24 hours of the lesson start time. A post-lesson progress report will be sent to your email address on file upon completion of each lesson.
Lessons are only available for subjects set out by iD Tech.
Lessons will only be taught in English.
For safety and security reasons, iD Tech will video record every lesson. Parents and guardians may request to have a video deleted by sending an email request to [email protected]. If there are multiple students in the lesson from different families, we must retain the video to protect the privacy of the students. Except when legally required, we are not able to provide copies of videos.
Generally, only one student per lesson is allowed. However, iD Tech reserves the right to allow parents to share their lesson link with one other student. All students that participate in the lesson are bound by these Terms and Conditions including our code of conduct.
iD Tech has the right to refuse service.
Lessons are a guidance/tutoring service only. No specific outcomes are promised or guaranteed. iD Tech is not responsible for any specific outcome or lack thereof.
Students taking four or more SAT® preparatory lessons are eligible to receive a $100 refund upon demonstrating a 100 point increase to their SAT® test scores as compared to a prior PSAT® or SAT®. Both the initial test and the follow-up test must be taken within 18 months of the last SAT® preparatory lesson taken. To claim a refund you must complete the form found at this link: SUBMITTAL FORM with the students name, email associated with iD Tech lessons/account and attach images or scanned copies of the official test score announcements to the submittal form. Only copies or images of the official announcements provided by the official SAT® and PSAT® providers will be accepted and they must include the student’s name (must match the name of the student that took the SAT® private lesson), the scores of the test and date of the test. iD Tech reserves the right to deny the refund to anyone based on its inability to verify test scores, or to match the student identified in the score announcement to a student that took a SAT® preparatory lesson. iD Tech also reserves the right to end this promotion at any time. Only one refund available per student, and refunds will only be processed once per month so may take up to 60 days from initial submittal.
Students taking four or more AP® preparatory lessons are eligible to receive a $50 refund upon demonstrating they received a 5 on the AP exam on the same topic as which they took their lessons. The test must be taken within 18 months of the last AP® preparatory lesson taken. To claim a refund you must complete the form found at this link: SUBMITTAL FORM with the students name, email associated with iD Tech lessons/account and attach images or scanned copies of the official test score announcements to the submittal form. Only copies or images of the official announcements provided by the official AP® provider will be accepted and they must include the student’s name (must match the name of the student that took the AP® private lesson), the scores of the test and date of the test. iD Tech reserves the right to deny the refund to anyone based on its inability to verify test scores, or to match the student identified in the score announcement to a student that took an AP® preparatory lesson. iD Tech also reserves the right to end this promotion at any time. Only one refund available per student per topic, and refunds will only be processed once per month so may take up to 60 days from initial submittal.

B. Scheduling/Rescheduling Online Private Lessons

You are responsible for scheduling all lessons via your My Account or by contacting 1-888-709-8324.
You can reschedule a lesson through your My Account. All rescheduling must be done with more than 24 hours notice. If sufficient notice is not provided, then the session is treated as a no-show, and the lesson will be deducted from your lesson balance.

II. Small-Group Classes

Missed classes will be forfeited and cannot be made up or refunded.
Fees for Small Group Classes are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Only students registered for the class may participate.
Classes are only available for subjects set out by iD Tech.
Classes will only be taught in English.
For safety and security reasons, iD Tech will video record every class. Copies of the recording cannot be provided to protect the privacy of the students in the course. Questions should be addressed to [email protected].
iD Tech has the right to refuse service.
Small Group Classes are a guidance/tutoring service only. No specific outcomes are promised or guaranteed. iD Tech is not responsible for any specific outcome or lack thereof.
Changes to a class start date, subject, or time can be made either through your My Account, or by calling Customer Service at least 72 hours prior to the start date of the class. Changes cannot be made less than 72 hours prior to the start of a class or once the class has started.

III. Equipment and other Add-Ons

Third party equipment and add ons may be sold along with Classes or Lessons, but in doing so, iD Tech only acts as a shipper or an intermediary to get the equipment/add on shipped.
iD Tech does not warrant or guarantee the fitness of any equipment or add ons purchased, nor is iD Tech liable for any injuries or damages caused by the equipment or add ons purchased.
Equipment and add ons can only be delivered to physical addresses within the continental United States (No PO Boxes).
You must contact the manufacturer if any issues arise with the equipment or add on.
Please ensure that there is at least two weeks of delivery time between add on/equipment purchase and the date of the first class/lesson that incorporates the equipment or add on.
Equipment/add ons are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Parent / Guardian Authorization for Off-Site Walking Trip

The Maryland Department of Health has requested we obtain permission that you have given iD Tech approval of the following sections of our Terms and Conditions.

IMPORTANT POLICIES SECTION
You certify that your student is in good health and able to participate in the program activities. You authorize the program staff to attend to health issues or injuries your student may incur while attending the program. You acknowledge that you will be financially responsible for any medical treatment needed during the duration of the program. You give iD Tech staff members permission to take your son/daughter/ward to places of relevant interest, the swimming pool (where available), guided campus tours, and facilities within walking distance of the program, both on and off campus.

You give permission for your student to go the places described below during his/her time at iD Tech. You understand that your student will be supervised by staff while on a walking trip.

Occasionally, staff will take students to a location on and off campus to visit a local venue. This might involve going to another building on campus, a campus facility tour, a trip to a park, an outing to a local mall, or going to a movie theater. All events would be in walking distance of the program facilities.

Important Note to Participants and Custodial Parents and Legal Guardians: By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you confirm that you understand and agree to the full content of the above. The effective date and time of this agreement are equivalent to the date and time you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

COLLEGE PREP: ADVISING SESSION TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions are intended to keep Students safe and make Advising Sessions positive and productive. By purchasing a College Prep: Advising Session you agree that you and your student will abide and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

I. Code of Conduct

I agree that I have read through, understand, and agree that I and my student will be held to the Code of Conduct set forth below. I also agree that I have reviewed the Code of Conduct with my student(s). I understand that I and my student must act in a way that is in keeping with the Code of Conduct and that my student’s Advising Session can be canceled if either of our actions or attitudes seem to be harmful to the atmosphere, or staff, in the opinion of iD Tech staff. I and my student understand that iD Tech reserves the right to cancel my student’s Advising Session without any prior warning for violating any of the terms of the Code of Conduct. Refunds will not be given if a session is canceled for failure of the student or the parent to abide by the code of conduct. I also acknowledge that upon staff observation of my student during the Advising Session, they may determine that the program is not a suitable and/or productive environment for my student. In this case, iD Tech may cancel the session and no refund will be issued. iD Tech strives to maintain excellent relationships with students. However, in some rare cases, iD Tech Advising Sessions may not be a compatible environment for every student.

Students and Parents/Guardians May NEVER:

engage in or threaten violence;
bully, intimidate, or harass others;
use this service, or materials provided as part of this service for illegal or immoral activity;
use inappropriate language;
share session information with third-parties, without permission from instructor;
impersonate another person;
publicly display session;
sexually harass others;
display pornography or any inappropriate material (including sexual content, inappropriate violence, racism, bullying, etc.) during session; or
personally contact instructors outside of session, without permission from iD Tech as set forth below;

Students and Parents/Guardians MUST:

abide by the rules and regulations of the instructor and iD Tech;
attend session in an appropriate, private setting;
dress appropriately during session;
adhere to the terms of use of any sites used, including following the specified age policies; and
only share material that is related to sessions, and appropriate.

II. General Session Information

I understand that a session is one hour long, and will be provided between August 1st and October 31st from 6am and 9pm Pacific Time.
I can only purchase one advising session per student. Any Session not used by October 31st of the season it was purchased, is forfeit, and cannot be refunded.
Sessions will only cover subjects set out by iD Tech.
Sessions will only be taught in English.
For Safety and Security reasons, iD Tech will video record every session.
Only one student per session is allowed.
I Agree that iD Tech has the right to refuse service.
I understand and agree that this is a guidance service only, no specific outcomes are promised or guaranteed. iD is not responsible for any specific outcome, or lack thereof.
Sessions are only available for students age 13+
Students must have completed all iD Tech courses for the season, before the Advising Session can be held.

III. Scheduling/Rescheduling Session

I am responsible for scheduling the session via the link sent out via email or by contacting 1-888-709-8324.
I can reschedule a session by emailing [email protected]. All rescheduling must be done with more than 24 hours notice. If sufficient notice is not provided, then the session is treated as a no show and credited against your account.
I understand that all sessions are one hour that will be provided between August 1st and October 31st from 6am and 9pm Pacific Time.
Sessions must be pre purchased, and must be scheduled no later than October 15, of the camp season it was purchased.
No refunds will be given for failure to schedule, or once the Session has been purchased.

IV. Contacting Instructor

Students and parents/guardians should also be aware that under no circumstances should students give their personal contact information to staff, nor is staff allowed to give students or parents/guardians their personal contact information without prior permission. Other than during the session, Staff is not permitted to communicate privately with, give out personal contact info to, or become social media friends with students. All contact outside iD Tech programs between students and staff must be arranged by the student’s parent/guardian through the Human Resources Department at iD Tech. PRIVACY POLICY

Contact information such as name, email address, mailing address, phone numbers (note to parents/guardians of children: if we have actual knowledge that a user is under 13 years old, the child will be asked to have his or her parent or guardian continue the registration process);
Month, day, and year of birth;
Gender preference;
Course interests;
Billing information such as credit card number and billing address;
User names to third-party systems (for example, Facebook);
Information provided on forums or chat rooms within our iD Sites & Services (note to parents/guardians of children: forums and chat rooms permit a child user to enter comments through which the child could provide personal information that would be visible to other users);
Information included in résumés and job applications; and
Health, any participation limitations or needs, immunization and allergy information.

Allow you to register yourself or your student with iD Sites & Services, or to otherwise register and open an account with us;
Allow you and/or your student to use iD Sites & Services;
Fulfill orders, process payments, and prevent transactional fraud;
Respond to your or your student’s requests or inquiries;
Provide you or your student with information about our products and services;
Consider you for employment or a volunteer opportunity;
Register you or your student in one of our programs;
Verify your student's age;
Monitor and improve iD Sites & Services, support the internal operations of iD Sites & Services, personalize your online experience, and for internal analysis;
Protect the security or integrity of iD Sites & Services and our business;
Facilitate the sale or potential sale of our business or any of our assets; or
As required by law.

1. Law Enforcement And Safety

the sole purpose of collecting the name or online contact information of a parent or child is to provide notice and obtain parental consent;
the purpose of collecting a parent’s online contact information is to provide voluntary notice to, and subsequently update the parent about, the child’s participation in our iD Sites & Services that do not otherwise collect, use, or disclose childrens' personal information;
the sole purpose of collecting online contact information from a child is to respond directly on a one-time basis to a specific request from the child, and where such information is not used to re-contact the child or for any other purpose, is not disclosed, and is deleted by us promptly after responding to the child’s request;
the purpose of collecting a child’s and a parent’s online contact information is to respond directly more than once to the child’s specific request, and where such information is not used for any other purpose, disclosed, or combined with any other information collected from the child;
the purpose of collecting a child’s and a parent’s name and online contact information, is to protect the safety of a child, and where such information is not used or disclosed for any purpose unrelated to the child’s safety;
the purpose is to obtain feedback from your student and provide aggregated demographic information about our participants to our curriculum and location partners;
we collect a persistent identifier and no other personal information and such identifier is used for the sole purpose of providing support for the internal operations of iD Sites & Services; or
otherwise permitted or required by law.

In certain circumstances, you have the following data protection rights:

The right to access, update or delete the information we have on you. Whenever made possible, you can access, update or request deletion of your Personal Data directly within your account settings section. If you are unable to perform these actions yourself, please contact us to assist you.
The right to have your information corrected if that information is inaccurate or incomplete.
The right to object. You have the right to object to our processing of your Personal Data.
The right of restriction. You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal information.
The right to data portability. You have the right to be provided with a copy of the information we have on you in a structured, machine-readable and commonly used format.
The right to withdraw consent. You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time where iD Tech relied on your consent to process your personal information.

Please note that we may ask you to verify your identity before responding to such requests.

iD Tech is merely providing a medium in which to socialize online with fellow participants. Users are solely responsible for interactions (including any disputes) with other Members and any volunteers that may advise and assist participants with projects and activities via your use of the iD Site & Services.
You understand that iD Tech does not in any way screen Members or review or police: (i) statements made by Members in their Member Submissions or the Member Submissions in general; or (ii) statements made by Users or any information a User may provide via the iD Site & Services.
You understand that your participant(s) is solely responsible for, and will exercise caution, discretion, common sense, and judgment in using the various iD Sites & Services and disclosing personal information to other Members or Users.
On behalf of your participant(s), you agree that they will take reasonable precautions in all interactions with other Members, particularly if they decide to meet a Member offline or in person.
Your participant's use of the social networking sites with which iD Tech is affiliated, their services, and/or Content and Member Submissions, is at your sole risk and discretion and iD Tech hereby disclaims any and all liability to you or any third party relating thereto.
On behalf of your participant(s), you agree that they will not harass, threaten, intimidate, bully, stalk, or invade the privacy of any individual in connection with your use of the social networking sites with which iD Tech is affiliated and their services, whether or not an individual is an iD Tech Member; and you further agree not to advocate such activities or to encourage others to engage in any such activities.
On behalf of your participant(s), you agree they will not give their social networking information to an iD Tech staff member.
You and your participant(s) should also be aware that under no circumstances are iD Tech employees allowed to give personal contact information for social networking sites. This must be arranged by the participant's parent/guardian through the People Services Department.
