It's easy to come up with a plan. Sell 10,000 items for $100, and you'll be a millionaire. But until the rubber meets the road and you put in the effort to drive your idea home, it's just an idea. Entrepreneurship is about getting products in front of people, surrounding yourself with a community of driven professionals, and trying again, and again, and again—whether it's your first, third, or fortieth attempt. In this deep-dive for aspiring entrepreneurs, you'll gain insights from Daymond John—Star of ABC's Shark Tank. You’ll build a brand style guide, practice the art of negotiation and pitching, and develop the technical and creative skills to help you get past the ideas stage and onto the big stage.

Frequently Asked Questions

One guiding principle of teaching kids entrepreneurship is that it’s difficult for an idea to flourish in a vacuum. Thus, the interactive nature of our Virtual Tech Camps helps kids refine their ideas and move them toward achieving full potential. Project-based learning is another key component, which assists in navigating the ins and outs of being a successful entrepreneur.

According to Inc.com, 93% of successful entrepreneurs started as kids and teens, so that begs the question: why aren’t there more young entrepreneurs? By exploring entrepreneurship, teens will have practiced what can take years to learn with the benefit of collaborative feedback and industry-tested advice. New knowledge (and perhaps a killer business idea) in hand, they’ll be ready to approach school, their hobbies, and life with a whole new outlook: one of a budding business leader.

As we’ve seen time and time again on Shark Tank, teens can step into the shoes of a CEO! Whether they’re looking to launch their own business right away, bolster their resume, or to learn what it takes for future ventures, this course will prepare them with versatile skills and life lessons from the best in the biz.
