Get a taste of collegiate life this summer at Rice University! Our Houston STEM summer programs strike the perfect balance between STEM skill development and summer fun, allowing students to experience life at one of the best teaching and research universities in the country. We'll use Rice's outdoor playing fields for traditional camp activities such as ultimate frisbee, capture the flag, kickball, chess tournaments, and other board games.
Located on 300 acres with over 4,000 trees just three miles from downtown Houston, Rice University's earliest buildings are characterized by red tile roofs, rose-hued brick, semicircular archways, and elaborate detailing. George Bush Intercontinental Airport is located approximately 25 miles from campus, and Houston Hobby Field Airport is approximately 10 miles from campus.
